Lay’s Is Releasing Potato Chips That Are Dusted With Doritos Cool Ranch Flavoring
Frito-Lay has a slew of brands under its umbrella, and among them are two beloved chips, Lay’s and Doritos. In an unexpected turn of events, the two have come together in a whole new snack — the Lay’s Doritos Cool Ranch-Flavored chips.
The Doritos Cool Ranch flavor has been incorporated into the classic Lay’s chip. If you’re wondering why they would take a bite that’s already a chip and put it in another chip form, we can only guess that the combination of a potato chip and Doritos is an experience we must have.
The chips are listed on Target’s website as a new item, and each 7.75-ounce bag retails for $3.59. As indicated on the packaging, it’s a limited-edition flavor, so buying every bag we possibly can is the only option.
“Ever wondered what Doritos Cool Ranch flavor would taste like on Lay’s chips?” it says on back of the bag. “Saddle up, because Lay’s put this iconic Doritos flavor on these iconic potato chips. Try all three for a limited time!” What are those other two flavors? Buckle your seatbelt.
In addition to the Doritos Cool Ranch, you’ll soon be able to get Cheetos Cheese-Flavored and Funyuns Onion-Flavored chips. So now your favorite snacks have been molded into a flavor and sprinkled onto a chip. We don’t know what specific geniuses decided to make these three flavors a reality, but thank you.
