Lauren Conrad has been the fan favorite for all things style ever since trendsetting the front bang braid back in her MTV days.
And she continues to dish out Pinterest-worthy inspiration, this time cementing the fact that the long bob is here to stay.
Conrad, 30, cut a few inches of her blonde tresses for a fresh new collar bone-length haircut that her hairstylist Kristin Ess dubbed the “soft shag.” Ess shared a photo of the new ‘do on Instagram Thursday on set of the former reality star’s MyDomaine photo shoot.
“You know I love a texture spray day,” Ess captioned the shot.
Ess has been the mastermind behind Conrad’s hair choices including her experimental redhead phase and her platinum blonde sheen. And not just coloring either: Ess previously used her scissor techniques to transform LC’s long, beachy waves into a bob.
As for Conrad’s mane mantra? “I think you can always throw extensions in and have long hair. There are options,” she previously told PEOPLE.
