The newest trend in facial hair will hit Glasgow, Scotland, this August at the 14th annual Piping Live! festival. The international event celebrates the nation’s most important symbols, which include bagpipes and of course tartan (aka that criss-cross pattern that instantly brings Scotland to mind). In honor of the event, and in a show of patriotism, men will be able to get the woven pattern dyed into their beards. The Internet, obviously, loves it.

Beard care experts from Braw Beard Oils will be hosting their first ever Bonnie Beard booth at the festival. However, their services will be available for one day only. On Aug. 10, appointments at the event’s George Square location will be on a first-come, first-serve basis, where the company’s founder, John Jackson, says they’ll be blowing people away with their tartan skills.

“Men around the world are embracing their facial hair — there have been plenty of variations, from glitter beards to bauble beards — and this is another great example of how you can have some fun with it,” Jackson told the Scotsman.

The exploratory design seems like something the beard bloggers from the Gay Beards would do, as the pioneers of every exotic beard trend. Just the other day, they celebrated the three-year anniversary of their first post with flowers in their beards, which became a big trend in 2014.

Can someone give us a hand?!
