Lady Gaga Skipped the 2022 VMAs This Year Because She Had Other (Pretty Major) Plans

Hate to break it to you, but Lady Gaga will not be attending the 2022 VMAs. A pretty big bummer since her red carpet arrivals are always completely legendary. So...what's she doing instead? Gaga has a pretty legit reason not to be in attendance: she'll be performing in Hershey, PA, as part of her Chromatica Ball Summer Stadium Tour.

Gaga recently spoke about all the work that went into the tour, saying on Insta "I’m so incredibly grateful to everyone who worked with me to build this show, and helped me express a vision of freedom and joy through music, dance, fashion, art and technology. I never thought I’d be on stage like this again. I’ll never forget all the hard work we put in as a team 🖤 I love and appreciate the dancers and band for all their hard work, dedication and talent in their rehearsals and performances, and the entire team and crew who make all of this possible."

So yeah, understandable that she's prio-ing this over VMAs! But, I mean, while we're here we may as well revisit some of Gaga's most legendary VMAs outfits, right? Like when she showed up wearing a Moonperson helmet in 2020?
