Lady Gaga Says She Wants To Have 'Tons Of Kids' And 'Live A Family Life'
Lady Gaga is no stranger to pregnancy rumors, particularly during the time she was engaged to ex Christian Carino.
The singer and actress does not have children of her own, but she hopes to be a mom someday.
The A Star is Born actress has said she wants "tons of kids" and "a family life."
Sure, Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (a.k.a. Lady Gaga) is known as the Mother Monster and cradles her many Grammy Awards like newborns. But Lady Gaga's newest project is not—repeat not—a baby, it's a beauty collection.
The award-winning singer and actress just launched Haus Laboratories (available on Amazon), and it is certainly near and dear to her heart. But Lady Gaga doesn't have any children of her own—at least, not yet.
Of course, that never stops people from speculating: Lady Gaga's been engaged twice—to Christian Carino and Taylor Kinney—and pregnancy rumors circulated throughout each relationship. Still, she hasn't had any babies with these men, or any of her other ex-boyfriends for that matter.
So, does Lady Gaga even want to have children?
The answer to this tough question is a resounding yes. The superstar has said in interviews that she does hope to have some, or a lot of, little Gagas in the future.
"I really hope that when I have maybe a little girl one day, or a little boy, and they see Mommy put her makeup on, that they have the same experience that I did," she recently told Allure. "That's the greatest gift of all, when you can connect with your parents."
Lady Gaga has had babies on the brain for a while, too.
"I want to have tons of kids, actually. I think at least three," she told Sirius XM radio back in 2013. "I really want to have a family and I really want to nurture my children..."
She continued: "Having my own kids will be like having three little monsters with me at all times." Still, Gaga added that her children "probably won't be fans" and that she wants to "live a family life," just like any other parent. "I grew up with a very strong family. I love being Mother Monster, too, that's my first job right now," she concluded.
Having kids is one of her goals for the new decade.
In December 2019, the singer and actress, 33, sat down with Youtuber and makeup artist NikkiTutorials to talk about her beauty routine and personal life. And Gaga said she wants babies to happen in the new decade.
"More music, not retiring any time soon... all kinds of different music," Gaga explained in the 27-minute video. "I wanna do more movies, I wanna have babies, and I want to continue to build the behemoth that is Haus Laboratories into the makeup company of my dreams."
No doubt her job as Mother Monster has helped her prepare for having kids in the future. Plus, you know her lullabies would be epic.
