Kylie Jenner initially did not invite her mom, Kris Jenner, to her 22nd birthday/yacht party.
Kris had to talk Kylie into letting her come and eventually made it onto the trip. LOL.
Well, believe it or not, you actually do have something in common with 22-year-old billionaire Kylie Jenner. And no, it’s not her excessive wealth, her wildly successful cosmetics line, or the fact that all her sisters are famous AF. What you likely do have in common with Kylie is that you, a young adult, probably do not want your grown-ass mother tagging along in your hedonistic birthday activities. But sadly, Kylie’s momager—Kris Jenner—doesn’t understand that.
You might recall Kylie’s extremely lavish 22nd birthday party last month. I mean, right? How on earth could we forget??? Kylie celebrated the milestone by hiring a $250 million “super-yacht” literally the size of a football field and inviting a bunch of her closest friends and family to live it up with her in Europe. But initially, Kylie’s invited family members didn’t include her mom, Kris. Sooo naturally, Kris finessed her way in, Hollywood Life reports.
On The Late Late Show With James Corden, Kris revealed that she wasn’t invited to the trip at first and had to talk her way into Kylie giving her a spot on the super-yacht. Apparently, Kris’s justification for needing to be on board was that Kylie hasn’t ever been in Europe for more than a few days. I’m sure Kylie would have been just fine, but sure!

“So I didn’t want her to do it for the first time—you know, she’s been to Europe for work, like, for a day or two. But she’s never gone for a vacation,” Kris said. “‘You need me, that’s why I gave birth to you. You need me on your birthday!’” Kris remembers telling Kylie. “So I convinced her first that she needed me on the trip.” And the rest, as they say, is history.
Let’s be real though: Are we even surprised that Kris made it onto the trip? Call Kris whatever you want, but please recognize she is a pure mastermind.
