Kylie Jenner wore more than four costumes this Halloween but saved the most poignant for last: a custom mommy-and-me look for her and baby Stormi Webster that she debuted Wednesday. She and her 9-month-old were a thunderstorm together, with Jenner dressed as the cloud and Stormi as the lightning.

Jenner had a distinct vision when she and her stylist Jill Jacobs first tapped Alejandro Collection. They worked with the design house before for Jenner's mini dress for Jordyn Woods' 21st birthday. ELLE.com got the exclusive from designer Alejandro Peraza on how their costume came to be, Jenner's role in them, plus exclusive sketches and photos of the outfits.

Material-wise, Jenner's dress was made of batting, cotton stuffing, and stretch jersey white fabric, Peraza told ELLE.com.

Kylie's dress has a value of $1,400, while Stormi's three-piece costume, made of holographic spandex in gold and foam, is worth $350.

Jenner had two dress versions to choose from for the night:

For Stormi, Jenner knew exactly what she wanted her baby's costume to look like.

Her own look was a little more flexible. "She knew she wanted Stormi to be a lightning bolt," Peraza explained. "And from there, myself, Jill, and Kylie worked on creating the perfect cloud to complete the costume."

Kylie ultimately went for the first dress, a more fitted mini dress at the waist with a puffy cloud skirt. Her shoes also had cloud detailing:

Jenner was very involved in the costumes' creation, Peraza said. "We didn't have many fittings, just a couple," he said. "Jill is so in tune with Kylie, the whole process was pretty easy. Couple of fittings, progress pictures back and forth, and then any necessary modifications from Kylie's feedback."

The inspiration for Jenner's costume was also a dialogue. "Jill passed along ideas Kylie had mentioned about cute mother-daughter costumes [in the beginning]," Peraza said.

"Jill and I worked closely together creating options for her, and Kylie let us know what she loved. To my understanding, Kylie wanted to be a literal cloud and get daughter Stormi the striking lighting bolt of inspiration so to speak."
