Kylie Jenner and ex-boyfriend Travis Scott are still figuring out their co-parenting dynamic.
In a new interview with WSJ. magazine, Kylie opened up about raising her two kids—five-year-old daughter Stormi and one-year-old son Aire—with Travis, after her breakup with the rapper in 2022.
“It’s going … I think we’re doing the best job that we can do,” she told the outlet.
The cosmetics mogul, who just announced the launch of an accessible high-fashion clothing brand called Khy, also talked about struggling with her postpartum recovery after Aire’s birth. Though she and Travis had initially named their son Wolf, they reversed track soon after and announced they would be legally changing his first name. Deciding what to call their baby boy, however, proved to be a difficult task.
“That was the hardest thing that I’ve ever done in my life,” Kylie said. “I’m still like, ‘Did I make the right decision?’”
She continued, “The postpartum hit, and the hormones, and I couldn’t even make a decision or think straight. And it just destroyed me. I could not name him. And I was like, ‘I feel like a failure. I don’t have a name for my son.’ So it took me a while. And then the longer I waited, the harder it was to name him.”
Still, Kylie is taking it in stride. The reality TV star told the magazine that she’s learning more about herself through parenting.
“My daughter has totally taught me a lot more about myself, and seeing myself in her has changed everything. I’ve had so much growth and am just embracing natural beauty,” she said. “I’m teaching her about mistakes that I made and making sure she knows she’s just perfect exactly how she is.”
