Kylie Jenner just took to Instagram to post a series of fire selfies to her grid. The 25-year-old has been pretty active as of late documenting her most recent looks, from her 21st-century Marilyn moment to her edgier all-leather Beyoncé fit.

While the makeup mogul has obviously received tonnes of attention for her latest snaps, many fans have since flocked to the comments section, but not for the reason you'd think.

For some context, Kylie dropped four shots of her posing in different positions, all while donning a teeny tiny cream bandeau top and low-rise khaki cargo pants. Looking the epitome of Y2K fashion, Kylie captioned the carousel: "need summer now," which led to hundreds of fans playfully mocking the reality star.

Why, you ask? Simply because it's June, meaning it's already summer. Plus, because she lives in California - a state known for having a Mediterranean-like climate. In fact, the average temperatures in Cali right now are around 23 degrees.

Taking to the social media platform to joke about the post, many users couldn't help but comment on the caption.

"Girl wym it’s summer everyday in LA," one person questioned as another teased: "It’s literally summer why are u asking for summer."

A third fan chimed in on the discussion to quiz the star, typing: "Isn’t it summer already?" while a fourth sarcastically commented: "Girl it’s June. It is summer."

Aside from all the playful teasing, plenty of Kylie's fans did also compliment her look, and one person even labelled the snaps as "hot girl summer."

Every cloud, eh?
