Kumail Nanjiani has a new coronavirus-themed podcast, 'One Day at a Time' returns on Pop TV and more of this week's best in pop culture

During the coronavirus pandemic, “The It List” is spotlighting things you can enjoy while social distancing. With that in mind, Kumail Nanjiani and his wife Emily V. Gordon launch a new podcast called, “Staying in With Emily & Kumail.” The couple get real about how they’re coping with shelter in place requirements. Gordon suffers from a rare autoimmune disease that places her among the most vulnerable group of Americans during the current pandemic. After Netflix’s cancellation, “One Day at a Time” returns for season four on Pop TV. Rita Moreno is back as the sassy Cuban abuela and matriarch of her family. Based on the 1970s sitcom of the same name, the show is making its big return thanks to its loyal fans, who rallied to keep the show in production. Disney and Universal moved up the digital release dates of some of their recent theatrical releases, and Warner Bros. joins the list. Only a month after its release, “Birds of Prey,” starring Margot Robbie, is available to purchase on digital platforms.
