The 'And Just Like That...' star was very appreciative of the past few months.

Kristin Davis, the star of Sex and the City and And Just Like That..., celebrated the end of summer 2022 in a new Instagram post

The 57-year-old posted a photo of herself wearing a blue floral bathing suit as she sat by what is likely the pool at her own home.

She began the message in her caption by talking directly to her fans, writing, "Hope you have all had some fun and relaxation this summer."

Davis went on, sharing that she is "most grateful to have had so much time with my kids and my parents! 🙏🏼."

The actress then explained that she's not great with social media and a bit too busy to post a bunch of pictures from this summer, as many other stars did.

She wrote, "If i was more Together I would make a reel of everything that happened over the summer - but gosh i can’t keep up with the reels and whatnot , so here is a pic and a wish that all of you are hanging in there and taking some time to relax a bit 💙."

Davis got a lot of appreciation for the post from friends and fans. Sarita Choudhury, who starred alongside Davis, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Cynthia Nixon in And Just Like That..., wrote, "Simple. Summer. Beauty.."

One fan wrote in support, "Happy to hear that you and your family had a wonderful Summer! Nice pic!❤️."

Davis has two kids, a daughter named Gemma Rose and a son named Wilson. She adopted them both and raises them as a single mother.

The actress has been extra thoughtful lately, posting a photo for National Dog Day last week in which she's cuddling up to her two dogs, who she explained, "moved on last year to the great grassy field in dog heaven."

She then said, "[I] miss them everyday but I ‘m so grateful to them for being with me for so long and taking such good care of me."
