Kristin Cavallari’s Ex-Friend Kelly Henderson Addressed Those Jay Cutler Affair Rumors
On April 26, news broke that Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler were divorcing after 10 years together. Since then, the tabloids have been relentless, posting story after story about the supposed messiness of their separation. One rumor that surfaced shortly after the original divorce announcement was that Cutler cheated on Cavallari with her ex–best friend, Kelly Henderson. It's a story Cavallari denounced herself on her successful E! show, Very Cavallari, and now Henderson is shutting it down too.
"No. I'm just gonna go ahead and put this out there,” Henderson said May 19 on the All's Fair With Laura Wasser podcast, according to E! Online. “There was never an affair, I have nothing to do with their divorce, and I am not dating Jay Cutler. We're not really in touch anymore. We had a little bit of a falling out last year, so I've kind of gotten some space from both of them."
Well, that's that on that. But what about the photo Henderson posted in early May, which many people thought was of her and Cutler? You can't see faces in the photo, but the bracelet the man is wearing closely resembles one Cutler has. It turns out the dude in the pic is actually Henderson's boyfriend, whose face wasn't featured because "he is a very private person and I respect that." According to Cosmopolitan, Henderson said on the podcast, "I've been in a relationship for quite some time now." Hopefully, this rumor will now die for good.
Cavallari and Cutler first announced their split on Instagram. "With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce," they wrote. "We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of. This is just the situation of two people growing apart. We ask everyone to respect our privacy as we navigate this difficult time within our family."
