As Kristen told Howard Stern in November 2019, she first met Dylan on a movie set about six years ago. But they later ran into each other at a mutual friend’s birthday and began dating.
And when they fell, they fell fast. "It was, like, really late, and we were in some shitty bar, and her friends were there or whatever, and they, like, walked out, and I was just, like, 'Oh man, I'm so fucking in love with you. Done,'" Kristen said in the same interview.

The two got engaged in November of last year. As for wedding plans, Kristen has said: "I want to stay home. I want to be in LA, so everyone can come and...I want it to be pretty chill. I don't want anyone walking anyone down any aisles. Like, we're just gonna stand, do vows, and fucking party after."

Dylan and Kristen are also currently working on a TV show together. "We discovered a superbrain," Kristen recently told Vanity Fair of writing the first episode together in less than two weeks. "She's a really genuinely brilliant fucking screenwriter."
