Krispy Kreme Is Giving Away More Free Doughnuts for the 4th of July

The Independence Day long weekend kicks off at the end of the week, and regardless of your current level of patriotism, Krispy Kreme is giving everyone a reason to don the red, white, and blue… more free doughnuts.

In honor of the upcoming Fourth of July holiday, today, the doughnut chain has just released a fresh batch of four limited time only doughnuts — the "I Heart America" collection — which are being sold at participating locations both individually and in a Fourth of July-themed box.

Three of the doughnuts are heart-shaped but with different fillings, icings, decorations. The Soaring Firework Heart is "filled with Strawberries & Kreme, dipped in red icing and decorated with an icing drizzle and star sugar piece," according to the chain. The Patriotic Cookies & Kreme Heart is instead "filled with Cookies & Kreme, dipped in white icing and topped with cookie and icing drizzles." Then, the Stars & Stripes Heart is filled with plain Kreme, "dipped in white icing and decorated like a flag with a red icing drizzle and a star sprinkle blend." Finally, the fourth option – the Star Spangled Sprinkle – is a bit more straightforward: an Original Glazed doughnut dipped in blue icing and topped with red and white star sprinkles

And if icing and sprinkles isn't enough to motivate you to go to Krispy Kreme, maybe this will sweeten the deal. The chain is also offering a free doughnut of your choice every day from now until July 4 to anyone who wears red, white and blue to participating shops. Additionally, from July 1 to July 4, the brand will also be offering a free Original Glazed dozen with the purchase of any other dozen at regular price.

Also, keep in mind, these deals are on top of the chain's existing "Sweet New Deal" where Krispy Kreme is giving away a free Original Glazed doughnut every day until Labor Day anytime a participating location's Hot Light is on.

It's a lot of free doughnuts. But hey, Fourth of July weekend is the longest holiday weekend of the summer.
