Korean barbecue, hot pot restaurant to open in Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A Korean barbecue and hot pot restaurant, KPOT, will be opening in Baton Rouge.

KPOT Korean BBQ and Hot Pot’s menu has over 50 meats, seafood, vegetables, tofu and noodles, according to their website. The restaurant offers an all-you-can-eat Korean barbecue and hot pot.

Customers will choose from a variety of meats, seafood, noodles and vegetables. From there, you will be able to either grill it at your table or drop it into a pot of simmering soup. Some of the soup bases include tomato, Japanese miso, mushroom and Thai Thom Yum soup.

According to the website, customers will also get to choose from their favorite ingredients.

“Korean BBQ and Hot Pot is a social and interactive dining experience where friends and family gather around the table to cook and share food together. At KPOT, you can choose to do Korean BBQ or Hot Pot, or do both,” the website said.

KPOT Korean BBQ and Hot Pot plans to open at 7620 Andrea Drive in Baton Rouge. According to their website, the restaurant’s hours of operation will be coming soon.
