Kohl's on fire, Nvidia doubles down, Celgene strikes a deal

Let’s check out the Yahoo Finance charts of the day.

Kohl’s (KSS): The department store operator reported comp sales for the holiday period that jumped 6.9% over the same period last year, and it boosted it’s fiscal EPS guidance. As you can see by the chart, the stock is climbing, up 3% in midday trading.

Nvidia (NVDA): At CES, the chipmaker announced it’s partnering with Uber, Volkswagen and Baidu to develop technology for autonomous driving. The features will support tech like AI, facial recognition, and voice assistants. Taking a look at the chart, shares are up around 2% today.

Celgene (CELG): The drugmaker is buying privately held Impact Biomedicines for about $7 billion. The deal comes as Celgene is under pressure to increase its drug pipeline as lucrative patents expire. Turning to the chart, the stock is down around 1% in midday trading.
