Kobe Bryant's daughter Gianna is slaying on the court at 12 years old

Not all kids of famous athletes inherit the skills of their parents. Some are just normal people who can occasionally sink a basket or throw a decent spiral. But Gianna Bryant, the 12-year-old daughter of Kobe Bryant, has definitely inherited the Bryant basketball gene. And when she showed off those skills at a basketball game, her proud papa couldn’t resist sharing with the world.

Not only does she display some nice transitional defense, that spin move before she sinks the basket is gorgeous.

Gigi may be Kobe’s daughter, but she didn’t just wake up one day with these insane skills. She’s been working on them for years. Here she is in May 2017 when she turned 11.

She hits her dad’s signature shot in his ridiculous home gym, with his Lakers jersey hanging above her, and with a basketball game on in the background. That’s epic.

And where did she learn how to do that? From dear old dad, of course. Here’s Kobe giving Gigi a one-on-one lessons a few months after that.

You can tell Kobe is already blown away by his daughter’s skills — not to mention he swagger. Gigi is just 12 now, but it’s clear that her basketball future is bright. Mambacita is just getting started.
