After calling off their plans to marry in February, it seems that Shailene Woodley and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers are rekindling their romance.

A source first confirmed their breakup to People. "It was an amicable split; it just wasn't working," the insider said at the time. "They're very different people with busy careers and there were obstacles that they couldn't surmount. They will remain friendly; there's no bad blood and no drama. It just didn't work out for them."

Ahead, we break down the timeline of their relationship.

July 2020: They start seeing each other.

Rodgers and his then girlfriend of two years, Danica Patrick, reportedly broke up in July of 2020. That same month, rumors began to swirl that Rodgers had moved on with Woodley.

February 2021: Their relationship is confirmed.

After keeping their romance out of public eye for months, Rodgers surprised fans by announcing that he got engaged. He dropped the news during his acceptance speech for the 2020 AP Most Valuable Player Award.

"2020 was definitely a crazy year, filled with lots of change, growth, some amazing, memorable moments, 180 straight days of having my nose hairs scraped, playing for very little fans or no fans the entire season," he said at the time. "I got engaged, and I played some of the best football of my career. … So I'd like to thank, first and foremost, my teammates for their support, their inspiration, protection, incredible play on the field … off the field, I've got a great group of people that support me, so I'd like to thank my team."

Then, Woodley filled in some of the details during a guest appearance on The Tonight Show.

"Yes, we are engaged. But for us, it's not new news, you know, so it's kind of funny," the actress said. "Everyone right now is freaking out over it and we're like, 'Yeah, we've been engaged for a while.'"

May 2021: The couple vacations in Hawaii.

The two headed to Hawaii for a summer holiday. They were accompanied by Miles Teller, Woodley's former costar, and his wife, Keleigh Sperry Teller.

June 2021: Woodley offers more details about their whirlwind romance.

In an interview with Shape, the actress explained how the pandemic forced their relationship to get serious fast.

"Starting a relationship where you immediately move in with someone—because it's a pandemic and you can't just get on a plane and go back and forth on weekends—taught us a lot about each other very quickly," she told the magazine. "We jumped in headfirst and got some of the sticky bits out of the way early."

She added, "But I have the perspective that I would have met Aaron in any context, any space in time, because I feel we were meant to be together."

July 2021: The two admit that they were hiding their engagement for longer than anyone thought.

Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, the Divergent actress said, "When we announced that we were engaged, we wanted to do that only because we didn't want someone else to do it before we did. And we didn't do it for months and months after we had become engaged."

Even then, she admitted that the public scrutiny after the announcement was too much, saying, "But the reaction to it was really a lot, and so we were like, 'Let's just politely decline [to talk about the relationship] for a little while and live in our little bubble.'"

November 2021: Rodgers gets embroiled in a vaccine controversy; Woodley criticizes the media.

After indicating that he was "immunized" earlier in the year, Rodgers tested positive for the COVID-19 virus in November. It was later revealed that the quarterback was not vaccinated and had instead received a "homeopathic treatment."

Rodgers, who claimed to be allergic to ingredients in the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, went under fire for subsequent comments he made about the "woke mob," "cancel culture," and the "witch hunt" surrounding conversations about individuals receiving COVID-19 vaccinations.

"I realize I'm in the crosshairs of the woke mob right now, so before my final nail gets put in my cancel culture casket, I think I'd like to set the record straight on so many of the blatant lies that are out there about myself," he said in a statement, per the NFL. "It was a witch hunt that was going on across the league where everybody in the media was so concerned about who was vaccinated and what that meant and who was being selfish and who would talk about it and what it meant if they said it's a personal decision (and) they shouldn't have to disclose their own medical information and whatnot."

Soon after, Woodley criticized the media for "grasping at straws" and "making a story out of nothing."

"Just read somewhere that the media is claiming I deleted an insta story amid the 'chaos,'" she wrote, per NBC News. "(An astrology post of all things) (not cryptic at all you dummies)."

She added, "Do you even know how stories work brah ?? they self delete after 24 hrs."

February 2022: The duo break up.

Sources confirmed to InTouch and People that Woodley and Rodgers had split.

An insider for InTouch said that the two "couldn't make it work" and that "there were too many obstacles. They're both adults and decided to part amicably."

March 2022: The two are seen being affectionate during a public outing.

Woodley and Rogers seem to have rekindled their relationship after announcing their breakup.

During a group outing to the Demetria Winery in Los Olivos, California, a source told People that the couple was seen flaunting some PDA.

"They seemed really happy. [Shailene] was sitting on [Aaron's] lap while they hung out at the table with friends," said the insider. "They kissed each other's heads and were very affectionate."

Earlier in March, the two had also traveled to Palm Beach, Florida together, People reported.
