What to Know About the Believe Survivors Walkout
Brett Kavanaugh is one of the finest human beings you'll ever have the privilege of knowing or meeting. [APPLAUSE] A great intellect, a great gentleman. An impeccable reputation. Went to Yale, top student went to Yale Law School, top student. So we gotta let it play out but I wanna tell you, he is a fine, fine person. [APPLAUSE] So, and he's got tremendous support. I can tell you that, tremendous. Just like Neil Gorsich, who's now on the Supreme Court, has tremendous support. So I'll let it play out. And I think everything's gonna be just fine. This is a high quality person.
At 1pm ET/10am PT on Monday September 24, women (and men) across the nation will stand in solidarity with Christine Blasey Ford and Deborah Ramirez, both of whom have bravely shared their stories of sexual misconduct at the hands of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
Participation is simple: you wear black and quite literally “walk out” (of “your home, workplace, classroom, wherever you are”). If you are unable to physically leave your current setting, you are encouraged to share a photo of yourself or your group with the hashtag #BelieveSurvivors.
On Monday, we walk out in solidarity. #BelieveSurvivors #TIMESUP (Link in bio with more information)

The lack of understanding about a survivors state of mind is one reason survivors don’t come forward. The boys club attitudes, rape culture, willful ignorance, misplaced blame & doubt...are also reasons survivors don’t come forward. I believe you Dr. Blasey Ford #BelieveSurvivors
