TikTok user @adoptcharleston, an animal shelter based out of West Virginia, has a monthly tradition that has completely captured our hearts. We're obsessed! Once a month, the shelter gathers up the kittens that are currently living there for a little field trip.
We weren't expecting the field trip to be to a local retirement home! But now that we've seen this, we need every single animal shelter to do this. Look at all those snuggles! This is the best idea ever that benefits everybody and every fur baby.

Stop it! This video hands-down wins the internet. Those precious kittens were in heaven getting all the attention and cuddles. And did you see the smiles on the residents' faces?! They were loving it too! As it turns out, the creator said they've been going once a month for the past three years. That's amazing!
"I love all of them, but especially the last one with its little tongue!" said @Ari.Skolnick. SO cute! The kitten knew he was safe and so he felt comfortable falling asleep like this. The tongue symbolizes he was zonked. Or maybe he was just drunk in love. LOL!
Another TikTok user, @vickiholmstrom, wrote, "I’m sure your visits are much anticipated and appreciated." Oh, there's no doubt in our minds that these visits are the highlight of the month. It would be the highlight of our month! Can we get every animal shelter needs to start doing this?!
