Forget about finding a free outlet, because KitchenAid is making cooking and baking a little bit simpler. The brand has just launched a Cordless Collection, so you won’t have to worry about cords getting in the way of your next great dish.
The release includes three small appliances that can all easily fit on your countertop. Say hello to the Cordless Hand Blender, 5-Cup Food Chopper, and 7-Speed Hand Mixer! You can expect the same power as a typical KitchenAid small appliance, but without the cord. Don’t think the whole cordless thing is a big deal? Clearly, you haven’t tried baking two dozen biscuits after watching 6 straight hours of The Great British Baking Show.
Now that we’re all ready to star in a cooking show, let’s take a look at the new KitchenAid line:
Cordless Hand Blender: purees; can blend 25 bowls of soup on a full charge
Cordless 5-Cup Chopper: mixes, chops, and purees; can chops up to 40 onions on a full charge
Cordless 7-Speed Hand Mixer: stirs, mixes, and whips; can make up to 200 cookies on a full charge
The three pieces all have rechargeable batteries, and come in Black Matte, Blue Velvet, Empire Red, Matte Charcoal Grey, Onyx Black, Passion Red, and White colors. Good luck picking just one color to go with your kitchen décor!
“With the new Cordless Collection, the kitchen is no longer bound by outlets and plugs,” Nikki Lockett, U.S. marketing leader for KitchenAid Small Appliances, said in a press release. “KitchenAid is transforming the kitchen by enabling makers to go cordless so they can cook whatever and however they choose.”
All of the three items are $99.99, and will be available in spring 2020. While we still wait for them to hit the market, we’re just dreaming about all the delicious things we’re going to whip up in the kitchen. Again, we’re super available for any and all cooking shows.
