TikTok user makes 'creepy' discovery under friend’s kitchen counters: 'I am unwell'

When TikTok user thegroovygravy looked under a friend's countertops, they found something "haunted."

How would you feel if you found out that your granite kitchen countertops were actually made of an upcycled gravestone?

Recently, TikTok user thegroovygravy looked under a friend’s countertops and found the custom engravings for a headstone marker.

“They used an old tombstone for my friend’s countertops,” thegroovygravy captioned the eerie video, which captures the gravestone granite.

Many people were disturbed by thegroovygravy’s “creepy” discovery.

“Well…that’s one way to get a ghost,” one person said.

“Well that stopped me dead in my tracks,” another user commented.

“I am unwell,” a third person added.

Some users speculated that the gravestone might’ve been used for the countertops due to a misprint.

“It was most likely made wrong or not wanted,” one person said. “Once it’s been placed in the ground, it gets destroyed if it has to be removed. So not ever on a grave.”

“Could be a misprint,” another user reiterated.

“It’s one long cut showing available fonts and stuff,” a third person theorized. “It’s not an actual tombstone.”

Whatever the underside of these kitchen countertops may be, one thing’s for sure: This is definitely a unique way to reduce, reuse, recycle.
