Kit Keenan Is The Youngest 'Bachelor' Contestant With The Biggest Instagram Following

Matt James' season of The Bachelor just debuted, and fan-favorite contestant Kit Keenan has already found herself in some low-key drama with Victoria Larson. Victoria, if you remember, wore a crown and referred to herself as a "queen," which is a pretty easy way to annoy the other women in the room.
Well, Kit was no exception. About two minutes into her conversation with Matt, Victoria arrived and dropped this li'l gem: "Excuse me, Princess, but the queen is here." Obviously, Kit wasn’t impressed (tbh, same), and she left ticked off.
Kit then told a group of women, "I thought that there was going to be competition for sure, but you can be the queen of your little thing, but no. I'm President, King, CEO."
So... that happened. As of right now, it seems like King Kit isn’t someone to be messed with. But who is Kit, exactly? Here’s what you need to know about the woman vying for Matt James' heart.
She's already Instagram famous.
The Bachelor is known for launching the Instagram careers of its contestants, but sometimes, it manages to attract some people who are already pretty well known on the platform. Kit was already Instagram famous when the show started—she had 46,200 followers, TYVM—but she now has nearly 88,000 followers.
Kit's mom is kind of a BFD.
Though she hasn't mentioned this family tidbit on The Bachelor yet, it's pretty common knowledge that Kit is the daughter of fashion designer Cynthia Rowley—something she references here and there on social media. She also wore a dress made by her mom during the premiere, getting some heat from Bachelor Nation fans who said she was basically a walking ad for her mom’s company.
Kit is the youngest contestant on Matt's season.
And yep, she's even younger than Bachelor alum MyKenna Dorn, who was 22 when Peter Weber's season filmed. Kit is 21, according to her official Bachelor bio, which makes her the baby of the group. (Matt is 28, FWIW.)
She’s living at home while finishing college.
Kit is a born and raised New Yorker and currently goes to New York University, per her Bachelor bio. She also lives with her parents "in the heart of the West Village" while she finishes her senior year, her bio says. Of course, given that her mom is Cynthia freaking Rowley, it’s unlikely Kit and her parents are holed up in a tiny studio apartment together.
Kit has a pretty impressive resume.
Don’t let her age fool you—Kit has done a lot. She currently co-hosts the Ageless podcast with her mom. The two cover things like fashion, business, wellness, and motherhood "through the lens of our adventures," according to the podcast’s description.
Kit is also a fashion designer, and you can shop her merch on her official website. She sells an equestrian hoodie for $160, a bunny-eared skull tee for $80, and a rainbow-embossed hoodie for $150.
Kit even has a talent agency for partnerships as well.
She hasn’t had a lot of experience in love (duh?).
According to her Bachelor bio, "Kit hasn't had a serious relationship since her first love in high school, but that's only because she hasn't found a man who can measure up to the level of emotional intelligence she needs." There’s also this: "She's found that most guys she meets don't match her maturity level, and although she is only 21, she is very ready for a serious commitment."
Kit is a no-BS kind of person.
"She is a straight shooter who has no interest in anyone who is fake or indirect," her bio reads. Translation: "Kit is totally going to be involved in drama this season."
She kinda looks like actress Anya Taylor-Joy.
Take a scroll through Kit's Instagram, and you might notice a semi-striking resemblance to The Queen's Gambit star Anya Taylor-Joy. She even acknowledged the similarity herself in a funny Instagram. "check mate ♟officially adding @anyataylorjoy impersonator to my resume," she captioned a pic of herself sitting next to a chess board. (Apparently, her mom agreed, commenting on the post, "Doppelgänger 🔥🔥."
Kit has a thing for footwear.
Not only can she surf in high heels, per her Bachelor bio, but seeing men in flip-flops makes Kit "mad." Given that Matt is from Florida, that might be a huge issue for their future relationship.
She's big into fitness.

That’s probably a natural side effect of being the daughter of one of the biggest fashion designers in America (and having the budget to match), but Kit’s Instagram is filled with pics of her in gorgeous clothes.

She had "boxes" of gear sent to the filming location.
This juicy nugget comes courtesy of Chris Harrison in a Facebook video introducing the contestants. "Kit had boxes and boxes of outfits shipped to where we were shooting the show...easily the best dressed, maybe the best-dressed woman we’ve ever had," he said.
