Kiss Will Play an Underwater Concert for Great White Sharks — and You Could Attend in a Submarine

A lucky few Kiss fans will be able to rock ‘n’ roll all night while inside a submarine.

According to USA Today, the ultimate glam rock band will be putting on a private concert in Australia for great white sharks and a few die-hard fans as part of a promotion for Airbnb. The special concert is just one of many Animal Experiences recently launched by Airbnb.

On the morning of Nov. 18, eight fans of the band will travel off the coast of Port Lincoln, South Australia by boat and then submerge into a submarine where they can not only enjoy live rock music but also enjoy some up-close-and-personal views of great white sharks, according to The Wrap. Before entering the viewing submarine, guests will be able to cruise along the coastline to get a glimpse of birds, dolphins, and other native wildlife.

The band will also travel to this area but stay above the water on another vessel. Underwater speakers will blast the band’s head-banging rock tunes for the fans as well as the sharks.

“Welcome to ‘Shark Rock City,’ where KISS will perform a live set off the southern coast of Australia to entice sharks, who love the low-frequency sounds of rock and roll,” the experience description says on the Airbnb website.

“I’m not sure how much of us the sharks can take,” singer and guitarist Paul Stanley told the Associated Press. “I’m hoping they know ‘Rock And Roll All Nite.’”

The concert itself will include at least four songs, including some of Kiss’ greatest hits like ‘Hotter Than Hell,’ according to The Wrap.

Tickets for this experience are first-come-first-served and will only cost $52 per person, so they’re likely to sell out fast. Tickets go on sale at 6 p.m. EDT on Oct. 14. There is an option to get notified when tickets go on sale on the Airbnb website.
