Kirsten Dunst Makes First Red Carpet Appearance Since Welcoming Son

Kirsten Dunst is no stranger to the awards show circuit. Between Melancholia, Fargo, and Hidden Figures (and that’s just the past six years), the 36-year-old has long been a red carpet (and onscreen) favorite.

This time around, however, Dunst wasn’t hitting the Emmys to grab a golden statue of her own, she was a glamorous plus-one for her fiancé, Jesse Plemons.

Plemons, nominated for his season four episode of Black Mirror, “USS Callister,” is celebrating more than just an Emmy nom these days. Just four months ago he and the Spider-Man star welcomed their first child together, a son named Ennis Howard.

In fact, Kirsten and Jesse’s red carpet appearance marks their first public outing since welcoming their baby boy. Dunst, elegant in a plunging Schiaparelli navy gown, wore her signature blonde hair in ‘40s-esque waves trailing over one shoulder. Jesse stood by her side, clutching the new mom’s hand sweetly.

We like to think Kirsten took a look at that red — er, gold — carpet, and was all, BRING. IT. ON.
