Today, we're transporting ourselves waaay back. It's 2013: Macklemore's 'Thrift Shop' is number one in the UK charts, Miley Cyrus just got raunchy on stage with her VMA's foam finger performance and you're debating whether to invest in a Triangl Swimwear bikini after Kendall Jenner shared a Twitter endorsement. Ahhh, life is good.
As much as I thrive off of the iconic pop culture moment that was Miley's tongue-out era, the one thing that we're remembering RN is the latter: Triangl bikini's.
In one of her most recent Instagram posts that was uploaded just a few hours ago, Kim Kardashian is seen to be rocking a metallic silver and black bikini set, posing amongst palm trees galore and glorious white sands. The bottoms in the two-piece set are high-waisted and the top is strapless.
Yes, I know what you're thinking... 'this looks exactly like a bikini I would've worn back in the day'. Right?! And that is probably because just like the most popular 2013 Triangl sets, the swim top and bottoms that Kim is wearing have contrasting black seam details stitched onto the bust and around the block colour.
By looking at the tags on the post, Kim is yet to exclusively reveal the brand of her bikini, however, my eagle-eyed self spots a logo. And that logo is Body Glove – you're so welcome. Unfortunately for my nostalgic self, the brand is not Triangl, but I suppose the look is close enough! You can shop Body Glove bikinis here on Amazon.
