It's been more than a year since the cheating scandal to end all cheating scandals led to the breakup of Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson, but by the looks of Kim's Instagram account, the drama is most definitely behind them. On Friday, Khloé's big sister (and most outspoken critic of her relationship with Thompson at the time) wished the NBA player a happy 29th birthday on social media, and even poked fun at their awkward past.
"Happy birthday @realtristan13!!!! Cheering loud for you today! Can't wait to celebrate soon," Kim cheekily wrote alongside a photo of herself screaming on the sidelines at Cleveland Cavaliers game back in January. At the time, the reality star was accused of booing Thompson as he shot free throws, but, according to Kim, she was actually cheering for him.
In another virtual tribute, the Skims founder posted a selfie of the pair, which was taken after she confronted Tristan for blocking her on Instagram post-scandal in 2018. "I think this is our only pic together @realtristan13," she captioned the snap.
Despite Kim publicly sending love to Tristan on his special day, the rest of the Kardashian family, including Khloé, decided to not post anything.
However, we doubt Khloé is upset over Kim's super friendly vibes. Last month, the mom of one called Tristan a "great person" while talking about co-parenting True, and stressed that she wants him to be present in their lives. “I know her dad is a great person. I know how much he loves her and cares about her so I want him to be there,” she said during the podcast Divorce Sucks! Meanwhile, a source close to Kardashian also confirmed that the turbulent times are over between them, but to not expect anything romantic to surface.
“Khloé and Tristan are not back together. This is not anything that Khloé is interested in. But they are getting along great,” the insider told People, adding: “Her whole focus is now on co-parenting with Tristan. She doesn’t care about anything else."
