Kim Kardashian West Wears Her Favorite Vintage Label at the People’s Choice Awards

Kim Kardashian West is the queen of vintage. The reality star and beauty mogul often revisits pieces from the ’90s in particular, favouring designs from Jean Paul Gaultier, Versace, Alaïa, and so much more. So it’s only natural that for the People’s Choice Awards tonight in Santa Monica, California, Kardashian West—who’s nominated for best Style Star and Social Celebrity—opted for yet another throwback look that evokes the decade’s signature minimalism.

Hitting the red carpet with her mom, Kris Jenner, and sisters, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, Kardashian West opted for a vintage Versace number, one of her most-worn labels. “I’ve wanted to wear it for a long time,” she wrote of the dress on Twitter before the ceremony kicked off. The fitted snakeskin dress, with thin spaghetti straps and a hemline that extended to the floor, falls in line with the body-hugging shapes Kardashian West often favors on the red carpet (there’s a reason she launched her own shapewear line, Skims). With no flashy jewelry or surplus accessories, she proved that the right dress has a stand-alone power all of its own.
