And yesterday, Kim Kardashian West managed another fashion feat, infusing a surfside look with red-carpet polish. The beauty mogul chose work over the beach on a Sunday, attending Beautycon at the Los Angeles Convention Center in a daring dress from Dolce & Gabbana.
Kardashian West’s latest look built upon her summer style, which has seen her wear corseted bodysuits from the Italian house paired with below-the-knee skirts from Wolford and offset sporty shorts with elevated, fitted tops. Yesterday’s ensemble married these aesthetics in one neat piece, which featured an off-the-shoulder neckline to highlight Kardashian West’s décolletage (and tan), while a sliver of skin at the midriff acted as a seamless alternative to the crop top.
Bike shorts underneath provided coverage, while barely-there sandals from Merah Vodianova grounded Kardashian West’s look had a goddess-y, leg-lengthening effect.
The finishing touch? A micro top-handle lady bag from Dolce & Gabbana to fit Kardashian West’s essentials—no doubt including a lipstick or two.
