Kim Kardashian unveils fragrance bottle inspired by her body

How to stand out in the already crowded fragrance market?

That’s a question Kim Kardashian found herself asking her team of advisers as they discussed her latest brainchild: KKW Body.

The result was a perfume bottle modeled after her naked body. We kid you not.

We took a mold of my body and made it a perfume bottle,” the 37-year-old revealed on Instagram Wednesday, posting photos of her body covered in clay.

The clay modeling was done by Italian contemporary artist — and frequent Kanye West collaborator — Vanessa Beecroft, whose past work includes pieces using many professional models, often naked.

The photos of Kardashian posing mid-mold were followed by an exciting unveiling of the prototype.

In a sneak peek posted to her Instagram Stories and Snapchat, the reality star first showed her fans what appeared to be a nondescript gray box. But wait…

The magic began when she untied the string and the walls fell down to reveal the draft perfume bottle.

Mind. Blown.

“So this is not the press box you guys, this is the regular box,” she explained. “I didn’t do press boxes because I wanted everyone to get this amazing box.

“I thought this was such a cool box within itself that the bottle is on like a statue pedestal… like a statue… in a museum.”

Naturally, fashion critics — including the now-famed Diet Prada — have drawn comparisons with Jean Paul Gaultier’s iconic Classique Eau de Toilette silhouette.

Well, it will certainly stand out in the duty-free lounge.
