Kim Kardashian Reportedly Makes $1 Million Per Instagram Post

Now that's how you influence.

It’s no secret that Kim Kardashian West gets paid enormous amounts of money to post a photo to her 135 million Instagram followers. But thanks to a new lawsuit filed by the reality-star mogul, we know exactly how much.

According to TMZ, Kardashian West revealed that she earns between $300,000 and $500,000 per sponsored Instagram post, which was revealed in her $5 million suit against the clothing company Missguided USA. Kardashian West is alleging that the company used her image to sell its products without her consent.

And while Kim’s reported half-a-million fee may seem like a lot of money to us civilians, it turns out that Kardashian may actually be pulling in double that. An “industry source” told TMZ that she actually earns a whopping $1 million per Instagram post, an adjustment that her legal team will reportedly make in re-filed court documents. That figure makes sense, especially after she revealed that her husband, Kanye West, gave her $1 million after she agreed not to promote a fashion brand on Instagram at his request.

"He's like the cutest", she said last year. "A brand offered me a million dollars to do a post on some of their clothing, and they typically — I don't want to say who the brand is — but they typically knock off Yeezy. Kanye said, 'No, babe. I really don't want you to do that.'" Kardashian added that the hefty check eventually came her way on Mother’s Day. “Mother's Day was, like, the next week", she said. "Mother's Day comes and he happened to be recording out of town, and I get my flowers and then I get an envelope delivered to the door. I opened the envelope and it was a million-dollar check with a note saying thank you for always supporting me and not posting.”
