About one week ago, Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson quietly called it quits on their nine-month romance, and sources started discussing what happened, along with the toll Kardashian's ex-husband Kanye West's harassment of Davidson had on them. A source close to Davidson revealed to People that Davidson sought trauma therapy starting in April because of West's bullying. Now, Page Six has insight on how Kardashian felt about her ex-boyfriend being brought to the point where he needed professional help coping with West's antics.

“Kim was very supportive of Pete going to therapy,” the source said. “Kanye was very detrimental. He was posting negative things—now add thousands and thousands of comments. Someone has to work with you to deal with something like that.”

A second source furthered, “Getting death threats from [Kanye’s] fans and all the negative attention online doesn’t feel good for the average person—add someone who’s struggled with mental illness, and it’s even worse.”

People's source originally explained that while Davidson sought help, he has no resentment whatsoever toward Kardashian for being part of a situation that prompted him to need it. The attention and negativity coming from Kanye and his antics is a trigger for [Pete], and he's had to seek out help,” the source started. “[He] has no regrets for dating Kim and wants it to be made very clear that she's been nothing but supportive of him throughout their relationship. Moving forward, he just wants to focus on his career.”
