Kim Kardashian Calls Kanye West Her "Inspiration"

Kim Kardashian still admires her estranged husband, Kanye West (or, as he's now legally known, Ye).

The reality star and business mogul opened up in a new cover story for WSJ. Magazine, expressing that she and West still work closely together on different creative endeavors, including her highly lucrative shapewear business, SKIMS.

"He has a piece of Skims himself and gives [the team] inspiration but also information. I think he enjoys the process," Kardashian told the outlet. "He expressed that there were too many branding situations. He's always super simple. I really wanted to condense my beauty brands. I wanted one place, one website, where everything can live."

The reality star also admitted that regardless of the couple's looming divorce, she still respects West and his artistic instincts, saying that "Kanye will always be the most inspirational person to me."

The pair have remained close following Kardashian filing for divorce from the rapper back in February. Kardashian supported West during his multiple Donda album listening events, and West helped prepare Kardashian for her recent Saturday Night Live hosting gig.

Kardashian even gave West a shout-out during her guest appearance, praising his musical talent while simultaneously joking about her decision to end their marriage.

"I married the best rapper of all time," Kardashian said during her opening monologue. "A talented, legit genius who gave me four incredible kids. So when I divorced him, you have to know it came down to just one thing … his personality."
