Kim K’s Makeup Artist Thinks This Eyebrow Trend Is Dead
Mario Dedivanovic aka MakeupByMario is the mastermind behind many of Kim Kardashian’s gorgeous looks. Although he’s a bona fide beauty star on social media (he has over 2.8 million followers on Instagram), it doesn’t mean he’s onboard with every online trend.
By now, you’re likely familiar with the “Instagram brow”—that is, a heavily filled and highlighted arch, with a severe, boxy shape at the front edge. At a master class held with Jergens over the weekend, Mario told the audience: “Don’t draw boxy lines; it’s time for something new—your brows can still be strong, but you want them to be soft, not harsh-looking.” While his muse Kim has some of the most enviable arches on the planet, you can bet that hers are never overfilled—rather, they’re moderately defined to achieve a perfect yet natural shape.
