The ‘Killing Eve’ Book Sequel Is Here & It’s (Probably) Filled with Season 2 Spoilers

If you can hardly wait until the season two premiere of Killing Eve, then you’re in luck.

Luke Jennings just released the second novel in the Villanelle series, titled Killing Eve: No Tomorrow. Although we don’t know if the Killing Eve book sequel correlates with season two of the popular BBC series, we wouldn’t be surprised if it contains some spoilers, so read with caution.

The first book, titled Codename Villanelle, was published in April 2018 and introduces readers to the bizarre relationship between an MI6 operative, Eve (played by Sandra Oh on TV), and an assassin, Villanelle (played by Jodie Comer). No Tomorrow begins right where the first one left off, with Eve discovering a potential MI6 conspiracy involving her target.

While we don’t know much about the second season, chances are the story line will follow that of No Tomorrow. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Jennings revealed that he worked closely with series creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge to ensure it aligned with his vision.

“Phoebe and I spoke regularly, dissecting Eve and Villanelle and their relationship,” he said. “When Phoebe and I started working together, I’d send her endless screengrabs of outfits—Miu Miu, Balenciaga, Valentino—I thought Villanelle would go for.”

If you need us, we’ll be dissecting every chapter of No Tomorrow until the second season of Killing Eve premieres on Sunday, April 7, at 8 p.m. on BBC America and AMC.
