Khloe Kardashian’s Pregnancy Announcement Doubles as a Love Letter to Tristan Thompson
So many feels. After months of speculation, Khloe Kardashian finally announced her pregnancy on Wednesday, December 20, ahead of the holidays. Within the joyous revelation, the reality star adorably called out boyfriend Tristan Thompson for his unwavering devotion as she expects her first child.
Kardashian, 33, took to Instagram to confirm the news with a photo of her burgeoning baby bump–along with Thompson resting his hands on her bump. “My greatest dream realized! We are having a baby!” the youngest Kardashian sister wrote. “I had been waiting and wondering but God had a plan all along. He knew what He was doing. I simply had to trust in Him and be patient. I still at times can’t believe that our love created life!”

The two, who’ve been dating since September 2016, also fueled the possibility of another interesting life milestone in the post on Wednesday. In the image, Kardashian wears two stacks of diamond bands on that finger, which immediately sparked rumors of an engagement. However, a rep for Kardashian told People that the speculation was “not true” and that the star has worn the rings before in social media posts.
Thompson, a star player for the Cleveland Cavaliers, is also dad to a child from a previous relationship. “Tristan, thank you for loving me the way that you do! Thank you for treating me like a Queen!” the mom-to-be expressed Wednesday. “Thank you for making me feel beautiful at all stages! Tristan, most of all, Thank you for making me a MOMMY!!! You have made this experience even more magical than I could have envisioned! I will never forget how wonderful you’ve been to me during this time! Thank you for making me so happy my love!”
Multiple outlets reported in September that Kardashian was pregnant and due in early 2018. However, the reality personality kept mum until Wednesday for a good reason.
“Thank you to everyone for the love and positive vibes!” she gushed. “I know we’ve been keeping this quiet but we wanted to enjoy this between our family and close friends as long as we could privately. To enjoy our first precious moments just us Thank you all for understanding. I am so thankful, excited, nervous, eager, overjoyed and scared all in one! But it’s the best bundle of feelings I’ve ever felt in my life!”
