Congrats are in order as Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson officially welcome their second child together.
Last night, a representative for Khloé confirmed last night that the baby of the 38-year-old businesswoman and 31-year-old basketball player had been born via a surrogate.
The baby is a little boy and is now the younger brother to the co-parents' 4-year-old daughter True. A name has not yet been chosen for the latest addition to the Kardashian family, but we're excited to see what his parents settle on when the right moment comes.
News that Khloé and Tristan were expecting a second child was revealed in July, when Khloé's reps issued the statement; "We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November. Khloé is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We'd like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloe can focus on her family."
The revelation of the child's second child was surprising to fans given that the former couple broke up in January after Tristan confirmed that he had fathered another child without Khloé's knowledge.
"Today, paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols. I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son," he said in a public statement on his Instagram Stories.
"I sincerely apologise to everyone I've hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately," the message continued.
In a second slide, he added; "Khloé, you don't deserve this. You don't deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don't deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you. I have the utmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry."
