Khloé Kardashian’s Size-Inclusive Denim Line Is Here: ‘I’m Fighting for the Real Girls’

Welcome to the Good Squad! Khloé Kardashian launched her Good American denim line in front of hundreds of excited fans at an event hosted by Nordstrom in LA’s popular shopping center The Grove. And she certainly dressed the part in a 100 percent Khlo$$$ outfit: “Good Leg” cropped skinnies from her collection teamed with a lace, lingerie-inspired bodysuit, plus double chokers and a ’90s inspired wet hair  look.

Khloé addressed the crowd alongside her business partner Emma Grede and mom Kris Jenner who was moderating the panel.

“I think what was so crucial to Emma and I, is creating a designer denim that was still trendy and cool and edgy that went into a variety of sizes that for some reason, the market feels like they don’t need to produce, which is really unfair,” she shared of the size-inclusive denim label, ranging from size 0 to 24.

She added that she hopes the industry starts to take notice of the Good American sizing model to expand the product available to women.

“I know it’s going to be more competition but we want them to copy us and hopefully expand their line into larger sizes and to real woman sizes and to really embrace this trend. We want it to be a trend forever,” she said.

And Khloé’s passion for an inclusive premium denim line was inspired by her own struggle to find jeans that worked for her body type.

“I used to be a girl that would walk into a boutique and they didn’t have my size of denim and I was really body shamed into being too overweight. I couldn’t fit into their denim,” she shared. “So I’m fighting for all the real girls and all the girls with hips and curves, yes!”

Priced between $149 – $205, Good American features a range of styles from a  slouchy boyfriend to distressed to classic black skinnies and even the perfect white jean. The line is available exclusively at Nordstrom and Nordstrom.com.

Kris, Kylie Jenner and Khloe Kardashian have already joined the Good Squad, proudly wearing the jeans to support Khloé. Kourtney also attended Tuesday’s event along with Kim Kardashian’s personal assistant Steph Shep. Kim is currently taking some “much needed” time off after her Paris hotel robbery horror earlier this month.

And her family members aren’t the only models. Khloé doesn’t only hope to create a revolution in the actual denim market, but also with how her jeans are marketed. She and Grede have created their Good Squad and made them brand ambassadors, including Khloé’s BFF Khadijah and Malika Haqq, Jordyn Woods, Gabi Gregg and more fresh faces.

“The Good Squad is a group of badass women who are individuals. They’re confident within themselves,” Khloé explained. “Enough of this cookie cutter crap. There is no one size fits all. I love that our girls are girls of all ethnicities and heights and sizes and blondes, brunettes, whatever you are. I love how confident they are.”
