Keystone Light Wants to Pay Your Rent for an Entire Year

What comes to mind when you think of a financially responsible transition to adulthood? If you said “Keystone Light,” I like the way your brain works—and you may be onto something.

The beer brand announced a national sweepstakes today that is equal parts amazing and depressing: Keystone Light will pay rent for 13 people for an entire year, awarded as a $12,000 cash prize.

A dream vacation to Hawaii it ain’t, but, hey, there’s a lot to be said for practicality.

Keystone Light isn’t stopping at rent. More than 150 runner-ups will win a “getting older transition pack” which includes a Keystone Light-branded inflatable chair, shower curtain, Hawaiian shirt, and candelier (a chandelier made of Keystone Light cans).

“We know adulthood can be expensive, especially for those just graduating college and grad school,” said Josh Wexelbaum, Marketing Director of Economy Brands, said in a press release. “In the real world full of pressures and responsibilities, we want to give people the opportunity to enjoy a little more fun – like cold, smooth beer and good times with friends. That’s what Keystone Light is all about.”

Throwing your hat in the ring is super easy: Just enter your email address and a keyword (keywords can be found here) on Keystone Light’s website.

The sweepstakes will close on September 29, so make sure to enter ASAP.
