Kevin Jonas and Danielle Jonas Celebrated the 10-Year Anniversary of Kevin's Proposal
Ah, l’amour! Lovebirds Kevin and Danielle Jonas rang in a momentous occasion — their 10th anniversary! — with what could be the sweetest Instagram post of all time.
According to Kevin, it was ten years ago that he popped the question to his longtime love. “10 years ago I asked @daniellejonas to spend the rest of life with me,” Kevin wrote in his post. “I am so lucky to have found my best friend early and to spend this life with you. I love you so much! Thank you for saying yes!” He accompanied his sweet words with a sneaky surveillance-style photo of the very moment he asked Danielle to be his wife, and we’re not crying, you’re crying!
Danielle chimed in on the post sharing a memory of her own. “I’ll never forget the moment I realized I loved you,” she wrote. So adorable.
The two truly have an epic love story. Kevin and Danielle started dating in 2007, and Kevin popped the question in 2009 when he was just 21 years old. According to People, he actually flew from a Jonas Brothers concert to Danielle’s house in New Jersey and surprised her with a visit — and a proposal.
The two tied the knot in December of 2009 and have two daughters, Alena and Valentina. Since then, Danielle has gone on to make a splash as one of the stars of the video for the JoBros’s comeback single, “Sucker,” alongside her sisters-in-law Priyanka Chopra and Sophie Turner.
Kevin and Danielle are total relationship goals, and they’ve accomplished some pretty major things in their first ten years together. What will the next ten years hold? We’re hoping for a few more epic music videos. Happy anniversary, Kevin and Danielle!
