If there’s one thing you can rely on the Kardashian-Jenners for, it’s their shows of familial support. Each sister has her own distinct business venture, and they’re more than happy to promote each other’s projects—whether that means stepping out in a bodysuit from Kim Kardashian West’s shapewear line Skims, or sporting the latest lip color from Kylie Jenner’s billion-dollar beauty brand Kylie Cosmetics.
It seems that courtesy also extends to the in-laws: in particular Kanye West, who—between his Yeezy label and the regular merch drops in support of his music—produces enough clothing to fill even the most supersized Kardashian closet. And yesterday, Kendall Jenner stepped out in Los Angeles wearing both her trademark ’90s-inspired Velvet Canyon sunglasses and the latest Kanye design: a sweatshirt reading ‘Jesus Is King’ with a painting of the messiah himself.
The piece was released alongside West’s latest, gospel-inspired album of the same name—those hoping to get their hands on the shirt, however, will be disappointed to hear that it is already sold out. Perhaps Jenner’s intention wasn’t so much to promote West’s merch as to pay tribute to her brother-in-law on what is the first anniversary of his Sunday Service spiritual gathering. Either way, it’s further proof of the Kardashian-Jenner guiding principle: it always pays to keep it in the family.
