Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny Sitting Courtside Get Compared to Viral Mansplainer Meme
Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny stepped out together for a date night on Friday to sit courtside for Game 6 of the Western Conference semifinals between the Lakers and Warriors in Los Angeles — and they've since become a meme. While any glimpse of the musician and supermodel together has been fueling pop culture news, it was one particular photo that got the attention of Twitter users and is now being compared to a viral meme.
In the picture, Bad Bunny is leaning in to tell Kendall something (we need expert lip-readers here), and Kendall listens intently. While the shot might seem innocuous enough, many people pointed out that the pair resemble other viral photos that are often used to convey mansplaining.
It's unclear exactly what Bad Bunny was telling Kendall Jenner, but it's certain that the photo will be used online from now on.
Friday's date night was one of the few public appearances Kendall and Bad Bunny have made since news broke in February that they were dating. Fans caught a glimpse of them attending a Met Gala afterparty last week. They were previously spotted hanging out at Coachella together — where Bad Bunny headlined — along with attending a Tyler, the Creator concert.
Both Kendall and Bad Bunny looked stunning in their outfits at Friday's game, including matching snakeskin boots.
The famous pair weren't the only A-listers at the game — and Kendall wasn't the only Kardashian-Jenner. Her older sister Kim Kardashian and daughter North West also attended the game, holding up a sign in support of Khloe Kardashian's ex Tristan Thompson, who plays for the Lakers. Other celebrity attendees included Michael B. Jordan, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Jack Harlow.
