Kelsea Ballerini Brought Chase Stokes To The CMT Awards, And He Couldn't Have Been More Supportive

Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes are making things red carpet official!

Over the weekend, the couple stepped out together at the CMT Awards ahead of Kelsea's gig hosting the show.

As their first red carpet appearance, Kelsea looked so happy to have Chase by her side.

"I have a really hot date tonight," Kelsea told CMT during their red carpet preshow.

She continued, "I'm really, really happy, and it's really nice. ... This is our first outing, so I'm like, 'Come on into my world and then bring me into Charleston [where Outer Banks shoots].'"

Kelsea added that she wasn't sure what it was, but she was feeling "really good," and was "happy to be here" as "the show is amazing."

Once the couple got inside the show, Kelsea took on her hosting duties while Chase supported her from the audience.

And by support, I mean he sang along to every song she performed — and knew every word!

He even got to join her backstage later in the show, where they shared a super sweet moment.

After it was all over, the coupled headed back home, with Kelsea posting on her Insta stories, "We Austin'd, we cmt'd, we hard launched, and we tequila'd."

Sounds like an excellent weekend!
