Matchy-matchy makeup is here to stay in 2017, and Kelly Rowland is giving the trend a gorgeous update for winter. Appearing in Los Angeles on Thursday, the 35-year-old singer wore muted shades with gray undertones on her eyes and lips.

Opting for a soft, velvety matte shadow on her lids and in the creases, Rowland’s look is subtle and pretty. She winterized the eye with black tightliner along the upper and lower water lines and into the lash line. Bold lashes and several coats of mascara add a wide-eyed effect.

Matching her lips to her eye makeup, she wore a nude color with lip contouring in a satin finish. Bright, dewy skin drew light to her face despite her winter hat.

Rowland usually likes to keep her short hair sleek as can be, but this softer look by Mane Addicts co-founder and celebrity hairstylist Desirae Cherie was one to remember. With volume on the sides amplified by cool-girl waves, Rowland’s bob framed her face perfectly.
