Kelly Rowland showed her love for Demi Lovato by recreating her lion tattoo
Fans were shocked when news broke on Tuesday, July 24th that Demi Lovato had been hospitalized for a reported overdose, but so many people have shown their love and support as she recovers — including a former member of Destiny’s Child. Kelly Rowland shared the sweetest tribute to Lovato on Instagram, and we’re so moved by this gesture.
As Cosmopolitan pointed out, Rowland posted a photo to her Instagram Story on July 26th that is meaningful for anyone who’s been following Lovato and her journey. She shared a picture of a lion that looks just like the lion tattoo that Lovato has on her hand, and then later added a video of herself with a temporary lion tattoo in the same place. “Got you on my mind,” she said.
Considering Lovato and Rowland have been pals since they were on The X-Factor together, it makes sense that Rowland would be thinking of her during such a difficult time — and hopefully, when Lovato gets to see the video, she’ll be touched by the sweet gesture.
Lovato has been through a lot over the past several years, so it’s sad to imagine her facing yet another substance abuse-related obstacle. But she’s strong, so we don’t doubt she can get through this. Obviously, her friends and fans have all the confidence in the world in her.

Rowland is not the first celebrity who’s come forward to share their support for Lovato this week. Many others have hit social media to wish her well, including her former Camp Rock co-stars, Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas.
