Kelly Ripa is preparing to take on an all-new role: author. And much to our delight, her debut book is coming sooner than expected.

The Live with Kelly and Ryan co-host just announced that she’s set to release her first-ever book, Live Wire, in 2022.

The book will offer a never-before-seen glimpse into Ripa’s personal and professional life, featuring real stories as told by the actress herself. It will cover a variety of topics, including all the “hats” she wears as an actress, a talk show host, a mother and a husband to Mark Consuelos.

Ripa released a statement that detailed what to expect in her debut book: “Full of her signature humor and wit, Live Wire will feature a collection of personal essays on childhood, motherhood, marriage, her career and the intersection of all the above—putting her thoughtfulness, assertiveness and deep understanding of the dynamics of gender and power on full display.”

“Surprising, at times savage, a little shameless and always with humor…Live Wire shows Kelly as she really is offscreen—a very wise woman who has something to say,” it continued. “Whether recounting how she and Mark really met, the level of chauvinism she experienced on set, how Jersey Pride follows her wherever she goes, and many, many moments of utter mortification (whence she proves that you cannot, in fact, die of embarrassment), Kelly always tells it like it is.”

Things are looking promising for 2022…
