Kelly Ripa Hilariously Responds to Everyone Talking About Her Feet on Instagram

Kelly Ripa is calling some Instagram commenters “weirdos” after they kept asking why her foot was missing from a recent post.
She explained that her legs were simply crossed while standing in the photo, causing an optical illusion.
The group photo was taken on her family’s recent European vacation.
Kelly Ripa doesn’t post to Instagram often because every time she does, the internet has something to say — exhibit A being the comments under her latest post.
Having just returned from a delayed European vacation with her family, Ripa posted a gallery of group photos from the trip. And instead of commenting, “Hope you had a great time!” or “Awesome pics!” dozens of people insisted that Ripa edited her foot from one of the shots. Because she totally has reason to do that.
“This is crazy but where are your feet?” one person wrote. Another added, “Why does Kelly only have one foot?”
The Live! with Kelly and Ryan host set the record straight on their Tuesday show, completely baffled by the fact that people actually thought her foot was missing. She was simply crossing one of her legs behind the other — she even took her shoes off to demonstrate. “I stand like this a lot in photos,” she explained.
Ripa also defended the pose on her Instagram Story, per People, where she called the commenters “weirdos” for bringing up the topic. “I don’t know, maybe I’m just jet-lagged, but can you explain to me why people are fixated on my feet in a family photo?” she asked.
Her husband, Mark Consuelos, was also in the frame, and joked: “It looks like you’re missing a leg.”
Ripa replied, “Well obviously I’m not because there it is in the other photos.”
It’s true, her left leg is perfectly visible in the other family portraits she shared, but, as she put it on her talk show, “If you zoom in long enough on anything you can always find something.”
Silly comments aside, Ripa and her family had a lovely time celebrating her son and niece’s graduations, which they couldn’t do until now because of the pandemic. They spent time in Europe and Greece.
“Last year’s graduation trip for our oldest son and niece was delayed long enough to become a graduation trip for the family newborns as well! 🇮🇹🇬🇷” she captioned the post.
