Kelly Clarkson just dropped an absolute bombshell on her fans... she cut BANGS! Posting a recap of her upcoming episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show with special guests Ian Somerhalder of Vampire Diaries and Saturday Night Live's Leslie Jones, she nonchalantly debuted her new hair-do. She kept the long, blonde look going on just now with wispy bangs to complete the style. To compliment her new hair, she wore a long gold skirt and a black top.
"Writing you a prescription for laughter today on Kelly! Tune in for all the fun with Leslie Jones and Ian Somerhalder, plus an extra special Kellyoke duet and a huge surprise for some superfans!," Clarkson captioned her post, failing to mention her change in appearance. Although maybe this is the huge surprise she's hinting at.
Fans were equally surprised and thrilled by Kelly's new look, commenting: "The bangs are slaying," "The new hairstyle Kelly 😍😍😍❤️" and "HERE FOR THE BANGS!!!!" Fans were also thrilled to see musician guest Lacey Thomas and viral sensation Cole Doss and his mom.
"Can’t wait to watch! Thanks again for having us 😊," Doss commented.
The Kelly Clarkson Show is now in its fifth season with an army of loyal fans tuning in every weekday show. This season she switched it up, moving the set of her daytime talk show from Los Angeles to New York City. "I knew I needed a fresh start and couldn’t be in L.A. I really wanted to be in Montana, but you can’t really do a show from there quite yet. So I was like, ‘The only other option would probably be New York,'" Clarkson told USA Today in October. Though after some time to adjust the move seems to have been a great move for Kelly, maybe the change of scenery even encouraged her change in appearance!
