Kelly Brook says she's 'happiest' as a size 12 as she refuses to diet before wedding
Kelly Brook has revealed she is "happiest" as a size 12 as she insists she won't be embarking on any kind of diet ahead of her wedding.
It was revealed in June that the star, 42, was engaged to her Italian partner Jeremy Parisi after seven years of dating.
While the pair are yet to decide on a venue at which they hope to marry in the next couple of months, she is certain that she won't be trying to slim down for the big day.
Speaking to The Sun on Sunday's Fabulous magazine, she said: “Oh, no [I’m not going on a diet]. I’ve not even really thought about that, to be honest.
"I’ve been on a diet plan for a few years now, and I’m at my weight that I love and I will stay at this weight no matter what’s coming up in the future.”
Brook – who rose to fame as a presenter on Channel 4's The Big Breakfast in 1999 – met her fiancé, who is a model from near Rome, on Instagram.
Before they met, the former glamour model was engaged to actors Jason Statham and Billy Zane, as well as to David McIntosh of Sky One’s Gladiators.
It comes after she previously revealed that her mental health was at its worst when she was at her slimmest.
Speaking back in 2020, also to The Sun on Sunday’s Fabulous magazine, Brook said: “I’m a size 10 around my waist but a size 12 around my boobs and bum.
“That’s my healthy, happy size. Some of the skinniest times in my life have been my most miserable.
“When I lost my dad in 2007 I was 8 1/2st. I would not want to be in that place again.”
The Heart radio host started modelling after winning a beauty competition when she was 16 years old.
