Kellogg’s New Jumbo Snack Packs Taste (and Look) Like Cinnamon Rolls From Cinnabon
Nearly a year ago, Kellogg’s announced that it was turning four of its beloved cereals into jumbo snack packs. Now there are two new varieties, and one was inspired by a Cinnabon Cereal Roll, so you can enjoy the treat whenever you’d like.
Kellogg’s came out with a Cinnabon cereal years ago, and it’s no wonder why fans were disappointed when it disappeared. Now it’s back in a new form, as the Cinnabon Bakery Inspired Jumbo Snax. The pieces are bigger than the original cereal, but smaller than an actual cinnamon roll. However, they are shaped like the real treat and are filled with that sweet cinnamon flavor.
In addition to the Cinnabon flavor, Kellogg’s has new SMORZ Jumbo Snax. It was announced in December 2020 that the actual SMORZ Cereal is back on shelves, and now you can also enjoy them at snack time. The toasted graham square pieces are dusted with marshmallow and rich chocolate flavor, so it’s like eating s’mores on the go.
“Kellogg’s Cinnabon Bakery Inspired Cereal and SMORZ Cereal have incredibly devoted fan bases, and we’ve received numerous social media requests to bring back the cereals. The new Kellogg’s Jumbo Snax additions give fans what they desire — another way to satisfy their cereal cravings, anytime, anywhere, with two new melt-in-your-mouth flavors,” Erin Storm, senior marketing director of Kellogg All Family Cereal, said in a press release.
The Cinnamon Roll and SMORZ cereal flavors join the four original: Froot Loops, Apple Jacks, Frosted Flakes-inspired Tiger Paws, and Corn Pops Caramel Crunch. They’ll be available in 12-pouch boxes in the cereal aisle nationwide beginning in April 2021.
